Description
Alder is a gracious honey-red colored veneer with an elegant, crafty grain scattered with subtle flecks and lines produced by the tree’s yearly growth rings. Native alder grows in a mile extensive seaside strip along the Pacific coast from Canada to Mexico; European alder along. The veneer dims to a warm reddish-brown tone after being cut down. Typical markings which include streaks and pithy flecks add to the extraordinary appearance of this wood.
